I remember a very chilly fall day. My mother thought it was too cold to go out without a hat and scarf, but she hadn't unpacked winter clothes yet. Finding an old pair of long sleeve evening gloves, she tied the ends together and tied this "scarf" around my neck. She excused the ridiculous scarf as giving me a permanent hug to wear all day. I liked the idea and wore it all week.
I designed the Hug Scarf to look a little cartoonish. The animated hand can easily be wrapped up and tied in funny positions, laying one on top of the another. If you feel really loved, you could wear three, four or five scarves. My girlfriends and I put rings on the fingers to add a little life to them and have fun exchanging hug scarves during the school day.
